XStitch Stool Goes to Milan

I am happy to be included in the Rhode Island School of Design Alumni exhibition "Change and Certainty in Uncertain Times", curated by  RISD President John Maeda, and exhibited during Salone del Mobile in Milan April 9-13th.  This group of work will also be exhibited at Wanted Design during NYC Design Week in May, more info here.

Women To Watch

Debra Folz has been nominated by Jen Mergel, curator of contemporary art @ The Museum of Fine Arts [Boston], and further selected from five nominees to represent Massachusetts at the bi-annual Women To Watch exhibition in October 2012.  Held at the Museum for Women in the arts [www.nmwa.org] in Washington DC, this years exhibition will hightlight female artists who incorporate textiles in their work.
