DxB (Design Exchange Boston) is a week of events and experiences celebrating the impact of design. Their goal is to explore the ideas, work, and strategies currently shaping our culture. I am happy to be participating in this exciting event by hosting a round table discussion on the ideation, design and production of objects today. Tickets and more event info may be accessed @ dxboston.com, and admission to my roundtable talk can be found @ http://dxboston.com/events/concept-process-production/
I will be returning to New York Design week for my third year of exhibition at Wanted Design May 18-20th. I am excited to share with you this years collection featuring new ways of translating textile & pattern languages through the innovative pairings of wood, metal, leather, and glass utilizing digital technologies paired with traditional practices.
We will also be participating in the Wanted Design's Pop-up shop curated by Module R, a Brooklyn based furniture showroom. A selection of our new home accessory objects will be featured for sale at Story as a part of their newest [design] story, and also @ Tythe Design's pop-up shop "StopThinkShop".
