Inspired by the reflections of light and transparencies found in gemstones, these metal and glass tables translate facets through layers of color and varying opacity. Each table base is designed as a setting with pronged connections to its glass tabletop. Each tabletop color-way conveys the throw of light over a stone’s surface by varying its color saturation from light to dark. When placed in direct light, these graceful color compositions transfer to the floor surfaces they occupy.
A welded stainless steel base in a satin finish holds a 1/2” THK permanently laminated low-iron piece of colored/patterned glass with polished edges.
